Hey Walledlifers, I apologize for not blogging more in the last month. We are staying on the property, in our camper and finding functional internet has been and still may be a problem.
We just started painting our townhouse, in hopes of increasing the curb appeal. We’re really hoping to sell it this year. We like living out of town, where we can listen to the birds and coyotes.
While we have been very busy this last month, we have managed to escape to the outdoors a few times. We went to the Bison Range on Mother’s Day weekend. While I love seeing the wildlife there, I’m not impressed with the new management. The roads need to be oiled, they’re either dust or mud in the meantime, which not only makes the drive less pleasant but also will leave a dull color on all of the roadside foliage. I think they’re cutting corners and being cheap. Hopefully not for long!
Spring has brought flowers and pollinators out in full force.
Surprisingly Terry’s allergies haven’t been bothering her to much. So….I’ve been picking up the slack. So have the bugs.
Judging by her reaction that must be one of those ZOMBIE BUTTERFLIES!
Unfortunately for her, it slipped through her defenses and sucked out some of her brains from the hole in her hat! Pray for her if you would, that she doesn’t become a zombie….or a butterfly!
Baby animals have been fun to observe lately.
I didn’t know killdeers suckled!
Great Blue Herons,
Short Eared Owls,
and many kinds of ducks,
have been our most photogenic models for this last month. Going into June we can hope for some fawns and elk calves to fill our lenses.
